Her suspension might just provoke a switch
Ladbrokes have tonight tightened the odds to evens that there’ll be a defection to UKIP during this parliament.
This follows the move by the Chief Whip to suspend Nadine Dorries as a Conservative MP because she’s taking part in he latest series of “I’m a celebrity get me out of here”.
My reading is there must now be a chance and I also believe that if Nadine did stand at the next election under the UKIP flag in her central Bedfordshire constituency then she’d have a fighting chance of being returned.
I wonder whether the action against her is too harsh and that Cameron might come to regret it.
